Herbal Remedies Dispensary is proud to announce an upcoming workshop titled Spark The Conversation About Mental Health. Slated to be held on Sunday, July 12th at 7:00 pm, this free educational event is open to the public but especially applicable to those that work in the cannabis industry and medical and adult use consumers. Participants who attend this program leave understanding how to perform self–care and be supportive of proactive mental health care for others. There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers during this 1-hour workshop. Resource materials from local mental health organizations will be supplied. Feel free to bring pen and paper along to take notes.
This workshop will take place in unit 6 of the same 4440 Broadway shopping center where our medical and adult use dispensary is located in Quincy, Illinois. Signage will be placed on the entrance doors to let you know you‘re in the right place. Although this event is free to attend, we are requiring interested individuals be at least 21 years of age, reserve their spot in advance online and pay a $5 refundable deposit. On the day of the event, those that attend will have their deposit returned. Admission will not be permitted by anyone who did not reserve a spot in advance. Reserve your spot today as seating is limited.
COVID-19 will likely continue to grip our nation going into July and social gatherings of this size may not be state authorized. Because of that, this event is subject to cancellation and/or rescheduling. Attendees will be required to wear facial coverings and the location will be outfitted to allow social distancing.
The Spark The Conversation About Mental Health Workshop was made possible because of a partnership between Nature’s Grace and Wellness and Hope For The Day. Nature’s Grace and Wellness is a family owned and operated cannabis cultivator based in Vermont, Illinois.
